PROJECT SCOPE:  Detailed Sustainability Guidelines for Design & Construction of University Facilities  

DESCRIPTION:  Facilities Services Facilities Standards (FS2) are the guidelines for all facilities projects on campus, including new construction, existing building renovations and facility operations. The guidelines are comprehensive and cover all areas. While the initial sustainability guidelines were created a few years ago, we overhauled them to include more innovative practices and requirements for University decision makers, design teams, contractors and the University's internal operations staff. These guidelines boost building performance, health and comfort while reducing operational costs.

ROLE:  Reviewed previous guidelines, facilitated cross-departmental reviews and wrote final document
