PROJECT SCOPE:  Net-Zero Energy Building Design Competition          DATE:  2013

DESCRIPTION:  Along with a team of several architects MIST entered the Architecture at Zero competition in 2013. The charge was to design a net-zero multi-family residential project in downtown San Francisco. The team’s entry used a series of passive design strategies including solar chimneys, exterior shading, passive heating, among others to drive down energy usage to 10kBtu/SF/year.
